Everything expires eventually. Jars/cans keep for 2 years, about.

Honey is the only food that never spoils.

How about raw sugar? or Twinkies?

Jars of honey that was buried in the pyramids with the pharoahs have been found intact, and judged edible.

I've had food poisoning once in my life, and that was when I was on vacation in California and at some sub from a place called Togos. I also eat eggs well past their expiration too. I also tear open my toothpaste tube and scrape out every last bit of toothepaste too. I'm frugal, what can I say

Peanut butter doesn't necessarily go bad, but like all other fatty/oily products it does go rancid. You can tell it is rancid by the smell....it will smell a little funny but not real bad, but if you eat it you aren't going to get sick or anything.
