Does Olive Garden still suck?

I would assume it's like most chain family restaurants. Meals come pre-made in kits from head office. The kitchen staff just take them out of the freezer and heat them up. That's how they get consistency regardless of what location you visit. On the other hand, you're paying top dollar for what's basically airline food.

I think how much you like Olive Garden is directly related to how much you love the breadsticks and now many you can eat.

If you stick with soup and breadsticks, I think you will be ok. Everything else is TV dinner microwaved food.

I haven't eaten at Olive Garden in like 7-8 years, but I doubt things have changed much.

Wife copied their zuppa toscana recipe and its 10000x better than theirs. I usually get their cheap 6$ all you can eat soup and salad and then just gorge

It gets a bad rap but the foods not bad. A little garlicky but not bad.
I mean you got gift cards right? Thats a free meal. How picky are you gonna be....

You're married right with a couple kids? Seriously are you gonna take these chumps advice or take your family out for a nice meal.

Last time I've been to an Olive Garden was when I graduated Jr. high 22 years ago in California. There's a nice Italian place here that I would like to check out. We have others as well, but this place's menu looked fantastic.

For a mass produced commercialized Italian food, it isn't terrible. I wouldn't eat there, but that is because I can afford to eat decent food.

Do they at least cook the pasta on location?
It doesn't make much sense to me, even the shittiest school canteens cook the pasta on the spot.
