Does newegg charge tax to California?

It's simple. They are located in CA, so residents of that state MUST pay taxes. Doesn't matter that it's online venture.
 
It sure does charge sales tax to CA residents. That doesn't prevent me from ordering from them though. Even with CA sales tax their prices are competitive and they ship fast.
