Does nair work?

I remember once as a kid putting some on my arm, nd I supose I left it there for 30 mins, and notihing happened. I ahve asked girls about it, and they all say it doesn't work. But, chocobaR has athread with pictures showing his naired leg. wtf?

Based on previous threads, how well it works seems to depend on the individual.

Enough people seem to get that nice chemical burn to make me stay away.

My girlfriend's friends have told her that it burns like none other.

yep, my girlfriend's sister was about to apply a whole mass of it to her arms and legs till i convinced her to do a test-patch first. welts came up immediately, and the burning sensation for her was immediate.

*annoying nair jingle in the background comes to a clanging halt*

so yeah, she didn't nair.

It disolves the hair. The hair then wipes away. It uses a very strong chemical to do this. It will burn you. Feels and will look just like razor burn if you do it improperly. You will bleed around each hair folicle. My wife used it once or twice. She showed me. So I of course like an idoit, tried it on a section of my leg for testing purposes.

Get VEET --- it leaves you feeling more smooth after ... and don't get any on your sensitive parts!

it has to do with the thickness of your hair and hair folicles i believe ;x if you have thicker hair it doesnt tend to work as well.
