Does my Battlefield 2 fps seem okay?

Im having fps problems with bf2. It seems that even if i lower settings i still get low fps. Currently I left settings at all medium, no aa and no af, 100% distance and 800x600. Vsync is off. I get about 50-99fps on 25-32 man servers. On all maps. Im using the forceware 77.77 drivers. Im disappointed, i was expecting this card should run it better. Ive heard of people running it 60+ on same settings with a 6600gt. The thing is when i first started playing I was getting 50-90 fps on all high and 1024x740 :/ My ping is fine, usually 13-20.

Can someone with a similar rig post their BGF2 fps.

BTW when i type renderer.drawfps 1, the number on the right is usually 12-15, while left is 50-60. I reade the right one is minimum fps? So that means my 6800GT is getting 12 fps? =/

My GFX card seems to be under performing recently. In CS 1.6 it cant even achieve constant 300fps with developer 1 and fps_max 300 like it used to be able to. And there was no way i could play fear without turning aa /af off, and most settings of med/low :/

I have:

AMD XP 2800+ stock
1.2GB PC2700 RAM
9600xt 128MB stock
160 drive
DFI Ultra Infinity II

same settings as you (with vsync on) I get about 30fps on a 16 player map.

EDIT: ran FRAPS, average of 34-37fps.

Thats...terrible, I run at 1024x768, all high except shadow and lighting on low and i get a constant 90+ fps, most of the time 95-99. On 1280x960(my max resolution) and everything on high, no AA/AF, I get 55-65 fps, sometimes 70+ and this is on 16/32 player maps, but I can't play it at this resolution for long, it seems I need 2GB.

if you think you're performance has suddenly dropped off recently, check driver settings, check if it's somehow underclocked, try a few benchies.

Im runing mine on 1280X960 no AA and high detail and i get 40-50 fps on a 16player map and this is with AIM, F@H, and sometimes winamp in the background.
card is running stock speeds also.
