stuff like this:
You Tube Farrakhan endorsing Obamahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha5HEc-vOJs

Has been making its way through the radio shows.

now: any right-thinking individual, kook or not, knows that Farrakhan is a biggot who runs a hate group and thus is not someone you want to associate yourself with.

I think it is like wondering "why would the grand wizard endorse McCain".

I also think anyone who disagrees with my point of view is a kook.

But I'm sure there are some out there that think this matters some how and I am willing to listen to a point of view that differs from my own... So is there anyone out there who actually believes this stuff or anyone who thinks, despite the proof before you, that either Farrakhan is a good guy or he never endorsed Obama?

your poll sucks.

p&n-->

and yes it matters...in that his personal spiritual guide for a decade is the kind of man that would give a bigoted racist like farrakhan unrestrained praise.

Yes, THAT matters. Who Farrakhan's voting for doesn't. I know enough about him to ignore his opinion on anything.

Farrakhan is a delusional maniac but I doubt it will make a difference to Obama supporters, after all nothing else that has come out has stopped them or even made them blink.

It's the douche vs turd dichotomy. Obama could do a lot of shit and I'd still have to vote for him. If the Farrakhan thing won't affect me, a fence-sitting pussy, then why would it affect someone who's actually voting for Obama rather than against McCain?

I like it when random P&N threads creep into OT though. My soul dies a little more every time I go there.

I agree. The die hards on both sides won't be deterred. I'm a fence sitter myself.

Aha! Now you get it.

and btw the Bush sewage plant has some humerous quality to it, so a case can be made for it in ot. As to this blatantly political, biased thread.......

Gee, lets ask if a man who over 90 percent of America hates endorsing your candidate affects your vote.
The very calling attention to the fact is what makes it biased, and political.
If this stays here in ot, and it has for 2.5 hours, I guess anything political is ok in ot.

The OP mentioned Farrakhan's endorsement of Obama and the KKK's endorsement of McCain. I fail to see the bias. Both candidates have been equally represented by fringe lunatics. :p

Either way I agree with you. If the post gets left here then I guess anything is OK to post in OT.

Obama shouldn't even acknowledge this endorsement. He shouldn't even denounce it either. If he actually makes a statement saying that he wants no part of this extremist nutcase, people are going to scream bloody murder for the fact that Obama actually noticed Farrakhan on his radar.

I guess stupid people think that this is a sign of weakness.

If McCain denounced a KKK endorsement, the results would be the same. "OMG, something else to bitch over."

I understood that the OP mentioned this in comparison...a hypothetical.

Did the KKK actually endorse McCain? I didn't see this. If so, it's been buried pretty well. No reason for the right-wing media to cry bias as you know they wouldn't be running that, just as they demand these equally un-related Obama "stories" to get significant play.

The KKK was not in the threads title.
And anyone notice it took like 3 hours before the thread was moved to P&N.
Its almost as if........
