My logitech mouse is crappin out on me. It's not the batteries, it just craps out on me for the last 2 weeks... do they have a policy like microsoft's where you scan the bottom of your mouse and fax it along with your receipt of purchase and they will send you a new one?

Thanks.

pretty sure you need to return your mouse in order to get a new one.

Go to walmart, buy the same mouse, open both mice, swap the plastic casing for the mouse around, clean it up so it looks somewhat new, make sure your new mouse works, and bring it back and tell em you want a refund for your defective mouse.

But only do it to walmart, I hate them.

I have had logitech send me a few wireless keyboard and mouce combos due to one part failing. They did not require me at the time to return the product to them.

Yup. They replaced my cousins mouse after it died outside of its warranty, at no cost.

You can't get service like that at MS.

PS: he told them repeatedly that it was no longer under warranty.

I give them 2 thumbs up.

Too bad doing that does absolutely nothing to Wal-Mart. Logitech, in this case, has to eat the "return". Wal-Mart forces the manufacturers to refund them for any "broken" returns Wal-Mart gets, so doing this just costs Logitech or whoever the money, not Wal-Mart.

Oh really?
But wasn't that due to defective mice? I believe it applied only to certain mice.
