What is your point, do you really question if life means anything over there? If you do look at the pictures of people crying after they have lost their loved ones that should answer your question.

Personaly i don't see how anyone could have predicted this outcome, the insurgents have a complete disregard for human life, they don't care who you are, they will kill you. There are so many groups fighting eachother over there i lost count.

My point is, this happens everywhere. You can make the same argument that low income poverty stricken Americans (or even, since the stats back it up. Low Income African Americans) do not want to live, and have no values of life since it seems they are killing each other in scores over nothing. It's more than that. You have the same mentality in Iraq that you do in any other inner city ghetto which is one of pure hopelessness overall. These people have nothing to look forwad too, hell they are worse off because they do not even have basic service available like plumping that works. Add into the fact a population who is use to being led, being told when to say something and when to not. Now they are free with no where to go, they have freedom but are more enslaved than they were before since now they have no hope of anything. So you have a group of people who are use to being led, who want to be led, and are now led by Death Squad leaders.

No one has an answer on how to solve the hopelessness that plagues the inner city of so many major cities, why do they think they can solve this hopelessness that is more concrete and more valid? Do you fix inner city issues by sending more cops in? What does that fix? Nothing, because all that happens is you get people who go "oh here comes the cops/ (US patrols in IRaq) lets wait till the pass before we go kill X because of ____ reason." The problem was we tried to bring democracy to a people that have never known it, has a taste of it, and have lived there entire life under a dictatorship. Do you think if we tried to forcibly bring democracy to communist Russia (1950's) the people would have made the adjustment easily? Of course not, its insane to think they will here as well.
