Does LCD blur get worse over time?

I have been noticing an increase in the amount of motion blur on my 3-4 year old LCD TV, and I'm not sure if it is due to the TV aging or if I'm simply getting used to my new TV.

How would response time get worse over time? I don't see how unless it was a defect in the set.

Sound like your new TV is superior in response time to your old set. You can now see the difference...the exact reason I can never go to an LCD...too used to my plasma's instant response time :)

I couldn't think of any way for the response time to get worse either, it's just such a dramatic difference I couldn't believe my eyes were playing tricks on me lol.

Damn you new plasma, now I have to buy another :p
