does laptop also use dual channel?

I need to get this for my sis , quickly: she has ONE sodimm in her Inspiron 1300, can it handle dual channel?

JK I know what you mean. Uhhh... I believe it does? How old is that notebook. The ones made after like 2003 have dual channel MoBos I think.
