I floss after brushing. I feel like brushing would push stuff back in between my teeth. I don't use mouthwash.

DEntist told me to floss BEFORE brushing. As far as the mouthwash part, I would guess it is the last step.

I floss then brush at night.

Then I just mouthwash in the morning..

Do you guys actually floss in the morning if you haven't actually eaten anything between sleeping and waking?

the poop left over from bacteria growing in between your teeth overnight is difficult to get out with just brushing.

for me:
morning - floss, brush, mouth wash
night - floss, mouth wash, brush

When I'm at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned, they clean the teeth (like brushing, only better) before they floss. I assume that's the best way.

Of course, it may be that they are trying to remove the grit from the cleaning from between my teeth.
