Does it always rain this much in Sacramento?

Slew Foot

Holy crap, this is my first year here after living in Orange County and San Francisco for most of my life. It's been raining about every other day for a month with more on the way the next two weeks. It's more rain than I've seen in a lifetime!

Is this normal or is this an unusual year?

All of Northern California has been that way this year. In the SF Bay Area is has rained something like 28-29 of 31 days in March. Hopefully it goes away soon.

It's raining pretty hard right now...the Home Depot on Howe just lost power (while I was inside) and as I walked out, I saw a flash on top of a electric post and a loud BOOM.

My question is, if you lived in SF or OC, why in gods name would you move to Sac? I've attended UC Davis for a while, and while Davis is a pretty neat town in itself, I don't like Sac, it just.....I dunno.....sucks.

Well, I attribute the suckiness to the Rob, Arnie and Dawn Radio Talk show.
Listening to those three idiots lowers your IQ at least 50 points.:disgust:
I mean, it has ALWAYS been a sleepy little town with delusions of granduer, but with those jackasses, it has reached a new low.

Every other day for a month is a lot? Wait till May, then it wont rain a drop until October.

Yep. You should savor the cool and dampness while you can.

We have a good snowpack now, so that's a good thing.
