Does Intel HS(p4) support custom fan?

Does a Intel p4 Heat Sink support a custom fan?

The fan on the stock heatsink is molded into the bracket mounts, I think. So if you remove the stock fan, the heatsink no longer has a way to attach to the frame on the motherboard.
