Does IBM manufacture the PA-RISC and Alpha processors for HP?

I don't know about PA-RISC, but Alpha was originally a DEC product which was bought up by Compaq which is now a part of HP. I doubt that IBM would be FABing for DEC, but stranger...
.bh.
BTW, I do really like spuds!

I'm not sure if it's the case currently, but IBM has made Alpha processors for Compaq in the past.
I do believe they will be making the EV7's as well, not sure though.

I've read somewhere that Samsung Electronics produces Alpha chips...

But that info was taken off their website.

Samsung is part of the Alpha consortium, and make their own Alphas, similar to how Fujitsu makes their own SPARC compatible processors, SPARC64 GP's.

DEC sold their FAB's and Strongarm procs to Intel and I believe Intel is the foundary for current DEC alpha chips. Although I doubt compaq sells them anymore.

I know that IBM manufacturers at least some of the PA-RISC chips for HP. I do not know that they manufacture them all, but I believe that they do.

[Edit: Fixed typo.]

DEC/HPaq still sells Alphas, and will continue to do so for some time to come.
The EV7 isn't even out yet, but they will sell it once it's done.
