Does hyperstreaming = hyperthreading?

Motherboard I'm looking at.

It doesn't say hyperthreading.. but if you take a look at this picture, it says "HT" on it which I thought was an indication for hyperthreading?

Does this look like a good pair with this?

My motherboard or processor quit working recently. I don't have extra parts to swap to find out so I'm planning on getting the MB and trying my current processor.(same as linked above, accept l2 catch is only 256kb)

My current motherboard that might not work anymore is an asus p4c800 deluxe. Is this a big downgrade? I know the new one I might get doesn't support RAID but I don't use it.. should I? New one doesn't have PAT either...

I appreciate it.

This board would be a huge downgrade from an Asus p4c800 deluxe. My last rig was based on an Asus p4c800-E deluxe mobo, and it rocked! It was/is still considered one of, if not the best socket 478 motherboards around.

Here are some customer reviews for you: Asus p4s800d-x

Yikes, not very good reviews. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm almost considering going socket 775 after looking around a bit. Prices are about the same and it seems the processors have a larger catch size.

Their are so many options.. those mini-atx cases look kind of sweet as well. (After having a lian-li server case that stands about 4 feet tall anything small looks really nice right now.. heh)

Anyways, I appreciate it.
