Oz was amazing. I am just starting Season 2 of The Wire and I have to say it is amazing.

By far, Omar is one of the best character I have ever seen on tv.

I like McNulty the best

QFMFT

stay strong through season 2; it's probably the weakest. Season 3&4 are ridiculously good. Season 5 is great too, despite what the plebeians around here will say.

2 has been kind of weak, still really good though and much better than most garbage out there.

I love all the oz crossovers, I swear they must have shared the same actor bank.

Too be honest every episode I am worried to shit that they might kill off Omar. It drives me nuts.

They certainly have made bad shows, but they usually don't last long.

Hung is taking way too long to get somewhere. And frankly the guy's life is really depressing. I'll give it a couple more episodes to get better, then I'm giving up.

They dont have all the best shows. They dont have Rescue Me.

But they do have Deadwood and thats my favorite show ever, so I guess I love HBO.

I just rewatched season 4 of the wire. That might actually be my favorite season of the 5. 1 is up there too.

Hung is good.. but 26 minutes an episode is making it hard to develop good story lines. ~30 minutes works well for Entourage, but not Hung (so far at least)

Six Feet Under, The Wire, and Big Love are possibly three of the best drama shows ever made.

Sopranos was good overall, but I think they really beat a dead horse after season 3. 1-3 were awesome, downhill after that.

I really wish they would do another season of Deadwood, but from what I hear they want to do a 2 hour "movei" to wrap it up and thats it.

FX does some pretty shitty stuff too though. I am still epically pissed they canceled "The Riches".

It probably does; Back when The Wire, Sopranos, etc. were on, there was no question. They still put out some questionable shows, and always have. They just put out great shows too. Anyone remember that weird Lisa Kudrow show or K-Street?
