Where are you planning to go?

i want to go to a decent school, not necessarily IVY LEAGUE

like USC, Berkeley, etc.

I'm a senior at AHS. I assume you're in your Junior year and it's a bit too late for extra curriculars unless you're really good at something. You attend SMHS right? Since you guys practically suck at most sports except tennis, I think you have a chance at a team. Be aware that as a senior with little or no experience, you'll most likely get snip snip. And fencing is more like an extra curricular, not a sport.

To get into those schools, you'll need these: 3.8 gpa, 1350+ sat, stellar recommendations, and a stellar course load (6+ AP classes).

If you're missing a few of the above, substitute one of these: leadership positions in other extra currics, a lot of other extra currics (service clubs, newspaper, yearbook), superb SAT 2 scores, a stellar essay, being a member of acadec/debate/orchestra/FBLA, or being in a few sports 🙂

If you don't have much, it's practically over! Every decent college accepts 5% less people every year. Consider the marines.

If you don

I'm in Sophomore year

I'm taking 7 APs (throughout the 4 years, not PER year 😱)

I'm President of a service club

I'm in FBLA

btw, man, you're scaring with all that stuff. i think some of it is just BS

Average SAT I score at Berkeley was ~1350+
Average GPA at Berkely was 4.1something

1350 is easy to get (btw, the new test is out of 2400, so that would be about a 2050?)

4.1GPA, weighted, i can get

You can get by without sports if you have outstanding academics and other extra curriculars. Nothing is "necesary"
