Does Gmail have a file attachment limit?

My dad was trying to e-mail me pictures of the damage done by Hurricane Wilma. He took around 75 pics or so each probably over 1MB. He said he wasn't able to get the zip file to attach. Is he doing something wrong or does gmail limit outgoing attachment size?

Set him up to do the drop and drage method of FTP, what I use and its super simple. Just slow on my cable setup 🙁

keeleysam has the answer.
you can upload up to 100 mb I think with yousendit.com
just tell him not to do anything when the computer starts uploading.
i.e. leave it for 1-2 hrs.
that way he wont messed it up.
