Actually, Joe Liberman looks more like Palpatine. 🙂 Bush looks like a tall elf with his pointy ears. 🙂
But really, does it matter what a person looks like as long as they do a good job?

Bush reminds me of Festus on Gunsmoke, well meaning, hard working, well liked, who is bound to say something stupid every now and again...
 
You make some good points, Red. There are a few Republicans I disagree with on a number of issues, and some which I don't like at all:

Arlen Sphincter (My local U.S. Senator)
Jim Greenwood (My local Congressman)
Christie Whitman (NJ Governor)
