According to IMDB, his last movie was in 1991, then he did a few TV shows. My God, he's 70???!!!! Now I feel old 🙁

My god will freaking hollywood quit ruining classics. Next they'll be remaking Wizard of Oz. No one could outperform Gene in Wanka. The movie is perfect like it is.

"Fronkensteen" lol. i also enjoyed his performace as the Waco Kid in Blazing Saddles. Interesting spin on the Willy Wonka facts, i hear that Roald Dahl's (author of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) family didnt really like how the movie turned out, also, it was Gene Wilders fist time singing on-screen, and also, the kid who played Charlie Bucket, it was his first acting performance, and after the movie, he never acted again.
