Does GeForce3 overclock WELL?

I'm trying to decide which GeForce3 to waste money on.

Can you guys post the brand/model of your GeForce3 as well as overclocking results? Thanks!

Good old Renob!
I ordered a Glaciator and will have it in a couple of days, we'll see if it's as good as you made it sound 🙂

Why don't you try to overclock the videocard a little more?

My visiontek is at 220/530 no problem. haven't even tried higher.
Don't want to fry this puppy. I'm sure I can do higher though.

As long as you're, as you say, wasting money, don't bother overclocking, and when the next best thing comes out, waste more money on that...

I've just got a Elsa Gladiac 920, it overclocks to 240/550 core/mem stable with stock cooling. At 245 core the card locks up on the second pass of 3DMark2001, i don't want to push the memory any higher because i've only had the card for a week and i don't want to wreck it!!

The Elsa comes with 3.8ns DDR-Ram, which is good for 530 non rated overclock, they have just conservatively clock the memory, or they could have gotten away with slower memory.

I just got mine to 250MHz core and 540MHz memory with "a little mod". I'm going to try different voltage settings to see if I can get it a little higher.

Vboy I dont mind frying a cpu but a $400 vidcard is a little much also at that speed and the speed or my cpu my framerates are KILLER
BTW you will love your Glaciator.
