If it's cold season the stations put additives in the gas to compensate for the temperature and thus lower mileage
During the hot season there's no additive but the forces of nature is there - Evaporation. However, the rate of such shouldn't be that high. 0.2mpg isn't that drastic of a number IMHO. I'm surprised you could even tell 🙂 >>
That would be correct... the last big bad additive was MTBE, I think they have actually gotten rid of it and replaced that one though, but yep, there is always something in there to make it worse.
