Does fear get harder???

I started a game on medium which is what I normally do to be fun while mildly difficult in some parts but I'm halfway through Interval 3 and have like 7 healthpacks and haven't been challenged really thus far. I just came across one big beasty dude with a nailgun or something but he wasn't too hard to kill. I like the slo mo but I think it gives the player a bit of an unfair advantage.

interval 5 is a little fun when the ninjas get introduced
but i guess they are only in the middle of the game, unlike some games that introduce a new character and that character is there from now on

I played and finished on medium, and it never got really hard, especially if you make use of bullet time. There were only 1 or 2 times were I went through all of my health packs.

Interval 7 and 8 get a bit harder as the rooms provide more advantage for the bad guys.

The best method to make fear harder is not to use slow motion.

IMO the slo-mo lasts too long and recharges too quickly. if it only lasted for a few seconds it would be a fun advantage allowing you to take out 1 or 2 bad guys with headshots easily but there would still be more to the fight.

Unfortunately because the enemies are always hiding behind cover you could still just wait for it to recharge no matter how long that took.

Play it on the hardest setting without slow mo (a cheesy effect I've never liked)--makes for quite a challenge. Also, I can't confirm it, but I'm certain that the enemy AI gets craftier at the hardest setting.

It becomes hard when you fight alma, she excorcist walks all over the walls and teleports everywhere its freaky as ******.

Other than the occasional creepyness factor - the game was a snooze really.

It made me think of max payne meets deus ex.

Both better games at the end of the day as well.
