Does etrade pay interest on idle cash?

For stock accounts, you can link your account to one of two money market accounts. Personally, I opened an Etrade savings accounts paying 5.05% and just transfer the money to it til I need it to invest.

What's the rate on those money market and is it free to link?

How fast is money transferred from the Etrade savings account into your stock account? Is it instantaneous so you can buy stocks immediately or is there the usual 3 business day wait?

it's instant from savings to brokerage account

The one problem I have with signing up with ebay is their quarterly maintenance fee.
