One of my friend is in market for LCD monitor and he asked me what to get..
I told hime to get one of those mitsubishi or benq ones with DVI and 16ms response time..
But..

I myself doubt that if there is noticible difference in using DVI and usual umm.. connection..
I really appreciate if someone can clarify this 🙂

Everyone that has an opinion says that DVI makes a huge difference. My school got new PCs with analog LCDs and they looked like ass. It's either Gateway quality, or analog LCDs just sucking. I'd say just go for DVI, you're already spending that much money on the monitor, what's an extra $20-50 on top of that? The best thing to do is to go to a store and actually look at the monitors and go from there.

On my Samsung 191T the DVI does look better then its analog mode,I would say if your video card has DVI support and you can afford a DVI LCD then yes it`s worth it .

We have, Viewsonic VX900, Samsung 191T and Albtron 17" all look and play games better.

Its not that noticeable.

At least on a decent LCD, VGA and DVI are hard to tell a difference w/.

On crappier LCD's I would guess that it would make a noticeable difference.
