Does dishnetwork allow you to upgrade the receivers?

I have an old school dishnetwork PVR that allows you to only watch/record one channel at a time... I've been with dish less than 4 months and now they have a new PVR with 2 tuners - can I upgrade for a small fee? The pvr that I have also is freezing up a bit - should I mention that and request a swap?

You'll have to buy it at the existing subscriber price, I believe.

the 522 is only avail to new lease customers. So no soup for you.
