Here is the shipping info from my latest Newegg purchase:

10/22/2009 1:13 AM PST Carson, CA, US PROCESSED
10/21/2009 9:19 PM PST Carson, CA, US ARRIVAL ORIGIN DHL GLOBAL MAIL FACILITY

I thought DHL went down at the beginnin of the year?

And I thought I did remember reading something about DHL cutting lines and handing them off to UPS/USPS/FedEx.

EDIT: OP below

Yup this is their 'Egg saver shipping'

What is Egg Saver Shipping?
Egg Saver (3-7 Days) shipments are picked up from our warehouse by DHL Global Mail, who handles shipping from Newegg to your nearest USPS facility. USPS delivers the package to your ship-to address. Projected delivery is 3-7 business days.

Ah, I saw something about Egg Saver, but missed the details.

Thanks.

Yes, they do.

So I am basically screwed on trying to get a tracking number, I suppose.

It's possible in the arrangement that USPS wil carry over any tracking number DHL used, but I wouldn't hold my breathe, we're talking about the USPS here.

Since moving to Los Angeles, I've realized that the USPS isn't very good at delivering mail, providing service, or being efficient.

They seem pretty good at raising their rates.

That is all.
