does dell do free shipping? I live in california, and im ordering a refurbished system, do they do free shiping, because someone told me they did?
 
They normally don't but they run specials often that include free shipping. Don't know if refurbs qualify. Just visit their website and see.
 
Yes but it depends on their current promo's and they're usually for NEW systems not refurbs from delloutlet.com

When I ordered a refurbished Dimension 4300 DESKTOP ONLY they wanted to charge me $95 to ship a desktop (no monitor) via UPS Ground, I balked at that. Gave them my FedEx account number I think shipping came out to $25 or so.
