does daemon tools have spyware/malware in it?

was about to download daemon tools based on the rec's of this board, but i noticed the more recent versions install some malware. is there an install without these things?

if not, is there another similar program (that's free)?

it's only the yahoo toolbar crap. same thing as nero i think. just uncheck during install. that's it.

Yahoo Toolbar might be annoying, but I don't think it's malware.

It's not malware.

Interestingly enough, MS Antispyware did detect it as malware when I first installed Daemon Tools.

Just use the older version 3.47 - I think it's still on the site.

dont use the older version.... just do like they all say and read the installation details an un-check when promted!

hmm ok thanks... didn't want a situation where i uncheck everything and still get bonzibuddy installed on my computer. damn purple monkey.
