Creed?
<Scott Stapp Accepting any award>I want to dedicate this award to Jagger. I'd like to thank our management, Jagger, the fans, Jagger, my parents, Jagger, Jagger, Jagger...</Scott Stapp accepting any award>

I just get really annoyed how he acts like he's the only Father in the world, and has to mention his son every where he goes. I mean, it's great that you have a kid, good for you. I'm at your concert to hear your music, not hear about your damn kid every 5 seconds...

[edit]Actualy, I've never been to a creed concert, nor do I plan to.[/edit]

"and christian music sucks."

This is based on your careful study I guess? Or do you just hear catholic radio and assume that's all there is. (no offense to catholics of course :)) Comments like these are baseless and patently stupid. Musical skill is not a trait restricted to any ethnicity or religious background.

some have criticized that Creed's music is painfully formulaic.
however, I like most of their tunes. Then again, I like formulaic music like the teeny bop stuff :p

The reason christian rock music sucks is because they do not mix well.
Rock was, and always will be, based on rebelousness. Organized religion is based on conformity. Similar to oil and water, or a better example would be BoberFett and intelligence. They just don't mix

RGN what did you listen to before? I'll be the first to admit there's a lot of sucky acts out there that get undue popularity. However, there are artists with talent there, you just have to be selective.

Do you have any kids? I don`t think it`s about being the only father in the world. Hopefully he realized that there is a lot more to life than music and popularity etc. That realization can be a little overwhelming.

Hmm...there's a difference between creed and those bands listed

they all were open christian rock bands.

Now, you may beleive that creed is a christian rock band...but I've seen many places where they deny this...so is everyone just pigeon-holing them? Looks like it to me.

I dont like their music but I wouldnt want to be labeled something I wasnt.

I hate Creed... Their music is annoying, why would anybody enjoy that?

I don't know about them being christian rock or not, but who cares? That's completely besides the point. Their music sucks, period. There are good and good sounding artists of every musical genre, and Creed is not one of them IMO. But then again I prefer to listen to alternative, rock, punk, ska, jazz, blues...
