Does Costco refill propane?

Tried calling twice today, no one is answering. Just curious - Do Costco's in the US offer propane refills?

Searching around, i see lots of Canadians indicating their Costco's offer propane refills, but not finding much from the US.

Not around here. They sell empty 20 lb. bottles, but don't sell the propane for them.

A standard tank is ~4 gallons.

Check outlying areas rather than in the city. Canada is an outlying area.

My ACE hardware refills, but I'm on the edge of rural.

That is a damn good price if it actually includes the tank. A filled tank runs 40+ here.

FYI, the costco empty propane tanks are nice ones with a built in gauge. Any tank you get somewhere else is unlikely to have any kind of gauge if you want that.

A 20lb tank is 5gal but max fill will be 4.7gal. Should cost ya less than $20 to fill at a uhaul center.

5 gallons nominal size...but actually holds 4.7 gallons...IIRC, they only fill to 80-85% of the rated capacity of the tank..
