There's the question - I tried it, on my machine, but I don't know if I did it right.

Other than that, are there any other FREE options I could use to overclock my card? I have a GTS-V with 5.5ns ram and I know it can go faster...

Havent tried it qith the 28.XX series, but I'd imagine it works fine.
As for other free o/c'ing utilities.... GeForce Tweak Utility (GTU), PowerStrip, NVMax, RivaTuner, etc.
 
I got it now. The coolbits hack that is up at 3dchipset.com must be old or something, it doesn't work. I downloaded a new one and it works now.
