If you are not changing the cpu multiplier to achieve your overclock then yes. I use it with my overclocked system & it works very well. If you have lowered the multi to get a higher HTT, CnQ will reset it to the default max multi under load & the pc will most likely crash. If you are in this situation, you need RMClock.
