Does China produce anything that is not utter crap?

My impression is that anything with a 'Made in China' label on it is a POS, as opposed to made in Japan, Italy, Germany, or even USA (rare as it may be).
So is there anything made from that country that is actually decent quality?
Something that would proudly make you say, "Hey, it was made in China. You know it's good."

Lots of stuff. You just have to buy from companies that put emphasis on quality rather than the cheapest shit they can churn out and still sell.

Many Logitech products are made in China and they are pretty decent. I'm sure you have hundreds if not thousands of other parts/pieces of things in your home that you've had for years that was made there too. You just never cared to look.

um ... look at 90% of the worlds goods and notice even when its a company other than Chinese.. guess where the components/products are made.. China or another 3rd world country in order to keep manufacturing costs down...
its just good business..

Your various car components are made overseas and then sent to the country of origin for assembly.. same with electronics and toys and gadgets..

If you really start taking stuff apart youll notice alot of made in China components. even in big name American and Japanese companies.

also note that ALL of Apple Corps stuff is assembled/built for the most part in China.

Too easy.

Take all your stuff and separate it into 2 piles: 1) Utter Crap; 2) Not Utter Crap

The stuff in pile 2 answers your question.

my father put a China Diesel engine and gear in his boat, it was good. That was 25 years ago, I don't know about them now.

stuff assembled in china for others is generally OK

however stuff they nativity make is pure crap. go look up crash tests of their cars to see what i mean

Those hand conditioning balls with the chime inside. That's the only native Chinese craft I've been pleased with, and which I thought had impressive workmanship, though they aren't the most complicated things in the world.
