does buy.com's secure pages(https) work for you?

or pretty much any https page cant be displayed on my computer.

www.buy.com works fine and i can browse the store. but once i try to checkout or go to any https page it doesnt work. i'm able to go on other https at other sites/stores. i even downloaded and installed firefox but niether that nor IE work.

is it something on my end? and if so what?

btw i;ve disabled any host/filtering files already
