And as others have pointed out from the factcheck reference, the point isn't whether he owns a timber company or not. The point is that by Bush's definition, he does own a timber company. Hence, by his debate answer, his own definition (used to criticize Kerry's proposed 39% tax bracket) is seriously flawed.
It's all really a moot point anyway; without Democratic control of Congress, an elected Kerry wouldn't have the juice to raise income taxes.
