Does BIOS v2.01 turn the MSI K7T Pro2A into a Via KT133A chipset??

From the readme.txt file of the new BIOS version 2.01 for the MSI K7T Pro-2A:

Support AMD K7 FSB 133Mhz CPU (change KT133->KT133a)

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on a few things:

1) Doesn't this mean that the Pro-2A will now have the KT133a chipset? If not, how else should I interpret this?
2) If #1 is TRUE...if I were to purchase the Pro-2A, I will be able to use the 200 MHz Athlons OR the 266 MHz Athlons (when they become available), right?
3) And, assuming #1 is correct, I can use it NOW to overclock the heck out of current Athlons...
4) Doesn't this mean that the only difference between this and the upcoming K7T TURBO from MSI is RAID?

Please correct me if I'm wrong on any and all of these questions. If my interpretation is correct, this would definitely make this an extremely cost-effective motherboard!

Thanks for everyone's help!

It's basicaly a bios that supports your current board & also supports the new board that will have the new KT133a chipset im guessing.

But or course i could be wrong.😉

Nope, it doesnt turn it into KT133A. I asked this question to Jasper at VIAHardware.com who first posted this BIOS, and no it's still a KT133.

Its not possible for a simple BIOS update to change the Chipset type. The KT133A is a different chipset with timing corrections for the 133fsb. I have a feeling that VIA made a deal with AMD not to release a chipset capable of 133fsb until AMD announced the availability of the chips. Current 100fsb TBIRDS and Durons appear to handle 133 pretty well. Infact FSB Ocing results are better than multiplier Ocing.

The KT133A is a deifferent chipset, not merely a software difference. The BIOS cannot change what chipset it is.
