It does indeed.

Being in the fridge for a year it's probably OK. The key is the storage environment.

Obligatory I'm a beer snob and only drink Micro's cus all Macro's suck.

I only drink beers that are made as a single serving, then the recipe is shredded, burned, and then the ashes are eaten.

LMFAO!

If it looks okay, smells okay and tastes okay it's okay. Beer doesn't get dangerous like canned foods, if it goes bad it'll just taste skunky, it won't kill you.

I guess you never read Gray Matter by Stephen King eh?

:^D

I have a few bottles of Stone from 06 and 07 (Imperial Russian, Vertical Epic, Anniversary Ale). They're fine.

Imperials are meant to age, but not all styles. some ~95% of beers should be enjoyed as fresh as possible.

Beer snobs fail so hard at life it's hilarious.

As for the OP, man, what a question. As if you had beer around long enough to even "expire"? 😛

If it's maintained at a cool temperature and protected from sunlight it can last many years. But it won't last indefinitely, eventually it'll start to turn.

Color is normal. What are the signs?

not true, but it is safer than water. That's why the pilgrims were boozing the entire journey to the new world, and the first Western building constructed in the English colonies was a brew house.

As far as I know, beer does not go bad with age. I've had some sitting around for hours before I got to it and it didn't seem to affect it at all.

Yes. Thats why IPA was invented

This man knows his beers! Well, at least his IPA history 😉

IPA was used before refrigeration. A beer in the fridge for a year would probably fine but just be flat.
