I've seen a dog frozen to a fire hydrant in winter, so I'm guessing that could happen to you too.

There really isn't enough alcohol to make that distinction. If you put vodka in the freezer it will stay liquid, but a beer will freeze, leaving virtually no liquid. I found this out the hard way and had to drink a nasty beer slushy.

Yes, it will freeze.

Most beer is only ~5% alcohol. The alcohol may not technically freeze, but the water will... and it's enough expansion to create a mess.
