What hsould I do with any left over coolant Imight have?

Take it to autozone.

Keep for hazordess waste pick up.

Dump it in a canal

Comedy "it makes great dogfood" option.

Autozone takes it I think. Some places will recycle it as well. Check the yellow pages and call around

I've seen a guy taste fresh coolant before, just dipped his finger in it and tried it - said it tasted like syrup 🙂

WOW!

I get scared when that sh!t touched my skin. I've read to rinse immediately when it contacts the skin (at least for dex cool)

Because of it's sweet taste spilled antifreeze is deadly to pets and wildlife. Humans usually get what they deserve however...

Take the old stuff to any garage or quik lube place. They will give it to a recycler.

A taste on the end of the finger will at most upset your tummy a little bit. Nothing more than that. BUT, if you try it like that make sure you chase it with plenty of water.

I have to look for Ethylene Glycol right? Dex Cool is aregistered trade mark i'm guessing. I can never find stuff labeled Dex Cool. it sucks.

Sorry but every Autozone I know of does NOT take coolant. The only place around here that does is MAYBE a NICE lube shop or you have to haul it to the landfill, they take it there not to dump but thats just where the hold is.

AZ will take car batteries and oil, but that is all. I dropped off 6 batteries once, they didn't even give it a second thought.

Ethylene Glycol is the green stuff. Dex Cool is the red long life coolant for GM. I think Ford and Chy. have somewthing like G3 long life?? Just saw it at AZ the other day.
