I frequent a relatively stylish forum. We have Google and Facebook integration. You can like or dislike a person's post. You can preview post without clicking on the link. They have emoticons that move and dance! Move and dance!! You can even private message the mods.

Basically, it has the whole kitten kaboodle! 😱

Would you like to see ATOT get an overhaul or stay the same?

Liking posts is stupid, and if I ever see moving emoticons on this forum I'm going all Michael Douglas in "Falling Down."
 
Likes and reps are awful and impossible to moderate. Our look is bland, but it's also sane, as opposed to, say, this gem I just found. But hey, it has color and moving pictures, what's not to like?

Some upgrades I could get behind, technical stuff like NOT GOING DOWN EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, or a better post preview. But, the aesthetics are functional and not distracting, which is all you can safely ask for in a site that deals with a lot of people.
 
Forget changing anything, just make this setup actually work the way it's supposed to.
I assume VBulletin is a pretty esoteric piece of software and few people know how to make it work.
 
I don't think the forum server has enough slots for new vacuum tubes to accommodate all that new fangled gibberish.
