Yup.

FWIW- Atkins isn't nearly as effective for non-obese people from what I've read. It'll knock weight off quickly if you have a lot to lose, but not so much if you're only carrying an extra 20 or so.

Anyone can lose weight with Atkins. Of course most of it would be water weight.

I was more referring to the rate of weight loss.

Yes, and it seems to hide between the ears of many. :p

Tell her: "<Name>, not even Atkins could help you"

Seriously though she should see a therapist.

What does she have to lose?

Oh, the irony of a double entendre.

Post pics and create a poll. Let ATOT decide if she should lose weight. Cheaper than a therapist and 100x more entertaining. :D

atkins works if done properly, my brothers medical ressearch class is working on it and I was one of the test subjects.

but you have to do it properly and it is not recommended for heart patients or anybody really above a certain age. Nuts are a very important part of the diet, most forget it, almonds, cashews, peanuts whatever.

After the initial intro phase and your body starts using keytones instead of carbs your all set.
I dropped 6 pounds in 9 days for my amateur body building competition. Im 6'1 and came down from 189 to 183, to a 4% body fat from 7.
