My coworker feels she needs to lose weight which she doesnt have in the first place. shes 5'3, 110 and wants to know if it would actually do anything

Yup.

FWIW- Atkins isn't nearly as effective for non-obese people from what I've read. It'll knock weight off quickly if you have a lot to lose, but not so much if you're only carrying an extra 20 or so.

Yes, and it seems to hide between the ears of many. 😛

Tell her: "<Name>, not even Atkins could help you"

Seriously though she should see a therapist.

What does she have to lose?

Oh, the irony of a double entendre.

tell her that if she lost weight, she'd be even flatter than she is. 😛

Post pics and create a poll. Let ATOT decide if she should lose weight. Cheaper than a therapist and 100x more entertaining. 😀

atkins works if done properly, my brothers medical ressearch class is working on it and I was one of the test subjects.

but you have to do it properly and it is not recommended for heart patients or anybody really above a certain age. Nuts are a very important part of the diet, most forget it, almonds, cashews, peanuts whatever.

After the initial intro phase and your body starts using keytones instead of carbs your all set.
I dropped 6 pounds in 9 days for my amateur body building competition. Im 6'1 and came down from 189 to 183, to a 4% body fat from 7.
