Does ATI support ultimate cloning

I Nvidia drivers i am missing feature to clone picture to all outputs, eg VGA1, VGA2 and TV Out. Does that work in ATI?
When yes, is movie playing (overlay) works on all of them?
Thank You for answer...

You can only use 2 concurrent analog displays on a Dual head graphics card, so no you can't clone to all outputs if you have more than 2 analog displays. VGA + VGA + TV out is unsupported on a single card.

Overlay only works on the Primary display or mapped to a secondary display using "Theater Mode". You have to use VMR to play overlay on a secondary display if not using theater mode.

thank you for answer. I guess it also doesnt work with two graphics card, eg agp+pci both with dual VGA + TV OUT.

What VMR stands for?

VMR = Video mixing renderer, with VMR9, you use the video cards 3D pipeline to display video rather than the overlay.

I don't believe you can clone across different graphics card. I'm not using my multimonitor setup right now, so I can't test it for you.

Thanks for answer....

You have to enable it in your video player software, some you can't, some have different names for it like "High Quality Mode" or "D3D rendering"

Ok, i will search for it... Thank You. I will than stick with nvidia and try to make it running somehow. Otherwise i need some video splitter.
