I had a nasty experience w/ ATACOM.
4 months ago I tried ordering a P3 700Mhz "retail" cBo processor from them. When I got the package, it was a OEM processor and it was defective, it wouldn't run at 700Mhz at all, it would only run at 466Mhz (7x66Mhz). I called them up to yell at them at there mistake and even though I had all the proof that they messed up some guy who couldn't speak English correctly kept saying I got what I paid for (I always thought Retail cpus came in a box myself but not from what that moron said). Then I sent it back to them for a full refund, and for 4 weeks I never got a single dime from them. I called them up and asked them what's going on, they said they kept trying to e-mail me (which after 10 minutes of talking i made the guy slip up and he confessed he didn't send ANY e-mails) to say that the warranty of the Processors was over and that the only way possible for me to get anything was to pay them $50 for a replacement. Again, i thought retail processors had a 3 YEAR warranty. The jacka$$ still wouldn't look at the bill of sale to see that I ordered a BOXED RETAIL Processor... I told him i wanted to speak to his manager and he had the balls to tell me NO. I then tried calling for 5 days after the first phone call to see if someone else from that place would pick up and each damn time it was the same guy....So I had no choice but to just paid the $50 bucks and get a new oem processor that I quickly sold to someone else and I told atacom to go f*ck themselves..
Then i went AMD......
