Looks like it's down again.. though again just forums.anandtech.com. The individual servers are still accessible. I can ping forums.anandtech.com too so the network is fine. Using other wget, I get a connection refused, which is the same response as a server not running anything on that port.

It seriously looks like a problem with the machine, and it seems to occur at roughly the same time each night.


Though I must say, it makes it faster for those that know how to get around it.

I think it's all a ploy to get us to subscribe 😉

Just change it to forums1, forums2 or forums3 and you should be ok. It's too many people trying to access the forums, and the bandwidth capping switch is having probs (that's how Zuni explains it in the link above)
