Does Artic Silver really work?

I'm thinking about buying a tube of this stuff, but I'm very curious if it will shave some degree off my cpu temp. Currently I'm using the thermal grease that came with my retail cpu. Let me know your experience with this stuff. Thanks. 🙂

I had luck with it. It seems to lower CPU temp by 5 or so degrees after a few days. (It has to "set-up")

Yes, its much better than the stock thermal pad. And, considering its a whopping $5 shipped, its not exactly a gamble 🙂
