Does Arctic Cooling offer any kind of warranty?

The fan on this seems to be going out, it buzzed for a good 10 minutes today and then finally went quiet. I can't seem to find any warranty info on their site and the package is long gone.

I have one of those -- I think it's the Silencer I -- designed for a GeForce4 Ti chipset.

If you can't make contact with them and get a warranty replacement, see if you can't find a replacement fan.

First, try here:

www.buyextras.com

There has to be some way of adapting a fan of comparable size and throughput to the Silencer, but some tedious trouble, I'm sure.

But anyway, I made contact with somebody at Arctic Cooling, when asking about "compatibility". They were personable and accommodating. So go to their web-site and look for "Contact" links.

It isn't totally dead yet, i'll probably hold out until it buzzes every time I fire up the computer. When the times comes I'll give mailing them a try, thanks!

Nope. My fan died out of nowhere one day, killing my R9800 Pro. I emailed Arctic Cooling, and they told me that since they have no locations in the United States, that they wouldn't be able to uphold their warranty, and that I should deal with the vender from whom I purchased the product.

That was like, 3 weeks ago. So I bought a GFX 6800 GT. I didn't really want one, but I had to have a video card... just a sh!tty deal, I was happy w/ my 9800 Pro.

Sounds exactly what happened me. Killed my 9800 pro so I bought a 6800GT, but unlike you I am very happy with my GT then 9800pro😉

Whoa, these things seem to die on people killing their 9800pros alot.........im getting a little scared. I got mine not too long ago, should i consider chucking it out the window?
lol

Damn 🙁 I guess I'll buy whatever Zalman or thermaltake has in the way of silent cooling before this one goes south. I doubt SVC would take the heatsink back after 6 months, but it is still only 6 months old :disgust:

well here they have warranty. a pretty long one too. you should just contact whoever sold it to you, they should replace it and send it back to ac who will then take care of it.
