I'm just wondering if anyone uses a web browser on their Mac's that isn't Safari? I tried Firefox a while ago, but it wasn't as fast and little things like using ctrl+cmd+d for the dictionary don't work. i find the dictionary thing useful when doing my studies.

Does someone use something different? and why?

I use mainly Safari on the Mac, but also occasionally use Firefox, for compatibility reasons.

On Windows, I use mainly Firefox, but also occasionally use IE, for compatibility reasons. (I don't use Safari on Windows.)

I primarily use Safari. I do use Chrome for Gmail and other Google-related stuff. I do have Firefox installed just incase I run into a page that doesn't load right in Safari/Chrome.

Chrome. Safari is far too slow (relatively speaking). I love the way Chrome updates itself, including Flash as well.

I use Chrome mostly for the Google Voice extension. It does everything I need it to with Adblock and Flashblock

Camino.

I have to use (for work) a couple websites that require Firefox. Camino works fine with them, Safari doesn't. Camino is less sluggish than Firefox, so it's a nice in between.

I used to be all about Firefox, but I've found the 4.X version to have really poor performance. Apparently it's related to java running on pages, but regardless of what it is it makes surfing a pain because it causes the whole browser to momentarily freeze on occasion. I even went so far as reformatting and reinstalling and same results.

So I gave up and switched to Safari. Safari seems fast which I like but I may try Chrome or Camino at some point.

I end up changing every 2-3 months between Safari, Firefox and Chrome. They all have their pros/cons. Currently with Firefox, but i'm probably going to switch back to Safari again soon, FF has been giving me issues with some sites.
