Since switching to Chrome, all my Outlook links (sent via email, of course) still open in IE. I have searched google, etc. and can't seem to find an definite answer.

Can the links be set up to open in Chrome???

I have gone into the options of Chrome and it says "Chrome is not currently your default browser". Even after i tell it to be the default browser it still says it's not.

If I go into control panel to the Set Default Programs, Chrome is not even listed on teh left side.

If I go into Control Panel and Set Program Access and Computer Details, I do not see any way to choose Chrome as default browser.

I have gone in and changed html files to open with chrome as well.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled it.

Edit: Do you use Outlook and Chrome togther and everyhting works?

I use Outlook and Chrome. I did have Chrome setup as my default browser for a while.

Wrench Icon > Options > Basics Tab > Click on the "Make Google Chrome My Default Browser Button".
Make sure All other programs (IE, Outlook, etc.) are closed when you do this.

Thanks but that's what I've done. It still says Chrome is not my default program.

BTW I've even done all of this immediately after a fresh install of Vista. I didn't format because of this issue but when I did I went through these steps and it still isn't working right.

Reason I ask is since installing Chrome Outlook 2007 for me repeatedly prompts me for browser i want to use. I've set Chrome as a default browser before too and Firefox just seems to ignore it. Chrome in general and using it as a default browser I've seen a few complaints about.

I've tried it at home with just IE and it works just fire.
